Job Purpose/Responsibilities:

  • This position is designed to handling both meeting groups and target on local Events Organizer for Corporate and Social functions.
  • Proactively explore local market for Corporate and Social business
  • Have thorough understanding of Quality goals (Catering Shops, Meeting Planner Survey and Employee Satisfaction)
  • Constantly communicate with other departments both verbally and in written form.
  • Distribute BEO no later than 5 working days prior to events and Group Resume no later than 7 days prior to group arrival.
  • Ensure all information is detailed, correct and all billing arrangements are specified.
  • Adhere to mandatory attendance at the Daily BEO meeting whenever he/she have event on the following day
  • Follow up on all changes, deletions, additions, and special requests.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Keep the Events Manager informed of any complaint or problem.  Resolve function space concerns well in advance
  • Achieve and exceed established individual goal and departmental goals per month.
  • Make sure that all billing is correct and current prior to guest’s departure, no adjustment to the Master account.  For group, review billing after each day of event and final review prior to guest’s departure.
  • Working closely with GRO Events license team to apply relevant license & permit ahead of time
