Job Accountabilities Plan, manage and deliver the change management for the Cargo Management System (CMS) programme for dnata Airport Operations and International Airport Operations in full compliance with the project practices, standards and processes of the Company. The role focuses on the people side of change, primarily through the adoption of new business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisational structures. The role will help prepare the business for change by managing internal communications and messaging, conducting readiness activities and developing training requirements. Therefore, the person in role needs to demonstrate highly developed people-management skills and capability to build relationships across stakeholders and team members to help successful implementation of the change plan. Project Management - Develops and leads the change management plan to ensure successful delivery of the project and adoption of the intended changes. - Assesses the impact of change, risks and interdependencies to enable a smooth, successful implementation. - Ensures the project plan is followed and deliverables are met to time, scope and cost. - Understands the role of a project and programme in the greater business context and reflects this in their day-to-day project management. - Provides effective and timely reporting within respective work-stream and to the project manager. Change Management - Applies proven change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative. - Conducts impact analyses, assesses change readiness and identifies key stakeholders. - Designs and delivers the communication plan to all relevant stakeholders. - Prepares presentations and other documentation which simplifies complex and technical content, tailors content and approach to suit target audience. - With dnata Training, manages design and implementation of the training strategy and ensures successful and timely delivery of the program. - Provides timely, appropriate and accurate project and change information to Project stakeholders and/or steering board members, as well as to other departments which may be affected by the project outcomes - Identifies and supports/delivers business process improvement opportunities. - Effectively and pro-actively manage key internal and external stakeholders, facilitating regular updates and discussions on the impact of the projects on their respective businesses. - Provides insight into problems or obstacles to change, escalating to the project team with recommended approaches to resolve them. Team Management - Leads, inspires and motivates diverse and cross-functional team members, drives performance, and coaches/ supports individual stakeholders. - Champions relationships across various team members and wider stakeholders to help drive business change and value. - Acts as an SME and support, coach and develop others. - Inspires team to remain focused despite challenges and setbacks.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications: - Degree of Honours (12+3 or equivalent):  - Change Management Accreditation Experience:- Organisational Change Manager / Practitioner / Lead - Project management experience and qualification preferred - 10-12 years of experience in airport operations with an international airline or ground handling agent including at least 5 years in a managerial role - Relevant industry experience preferably with a major airline or ground handling company Knowledge/skills:  - At least 8 years of experience in the area of Organisational Change Management preferred - Strong experience in delivering impact assessments, change measurement, role mapping and training needs assessment in addition to managing communications. - Outstanding ability to facilitate dialogue and resolve complex issues with a range of stakeholders, including senior executives - Able to work effectively at all levels quickly establishing and then maintaining accountability and trust within key stakeholders - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to resolve escalated issues effectively to reduce business impact - Ability to manage and adapt to multiple change initiatives - Knowledge of Organisation Change Management, Project Management, Communication, Training and Development - Strong facilitation skills, including ability to lead workshops and / or provide executive coaching to senior dnata stakeholders - Ability to coach and support key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation - Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts, understand organisational issues and challenges and understand dependencies across businesses - Knowledge of Airport Operations, processes and stakeholders preferred Generic Project role: - Expert Knowledge of airline industry standards, and core business functions and systems preferred.  - Should be practical and innovative with the ability to manage cross-functional teams at a multinational level.  - Knowledge of a variety of project management methodologies and practices.
