We are currently looking for young, dynamic, self motivated Recreation professionals who want to move their careers forward.
As an Assistant Manager - Recreation, you are responsible to assist the Department Head with the entire operation of the leisure club along with the administrative areas, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Responsible for the entire Bodylines Fitness & Wellness club daily operation in the absence of the Department Head or Assistant Department Head
• Ensure that the club maintains the highest standards of hygiene, safety and maintenance at all times
• Control and supervise all colleagues in the club and ensure all relevant information is communicated to them promptly and efficiently
• Assist with providing all colleagues adequate training to perform their duties
• Maintain concise records of all recreation items e.g. towels, furniture, rackets, balls, etc
• Assist Fitness Instructors with set ups for activities, group coaching activities, game supervision and refereeing
• Assist Fitness Instructors with a quality professional fitness program, carrying out fitness testing, evaluations, program design and fitness instructions
• Monitor supplies and equipment needed for continued operation of Bodylines Fitness & Wellness
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a diploma / degree in the sports / leisure field with previous similar work experiences. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English. Computer literacy with a proficiency in dietetics, fitness instructing and general sporting abilities.
