SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Customer - Travel Agency and Amadeus Solutions:

  • Collect and analyze customer business goals, needs and key requirements by liaison with sales staff and directly with customers.
  • Act as product expert for key parts of the Amadeus Product portfolio.
  • Finalize customer solution proposals and transformation/delivery plans.
  • Conduct all necessary testing, piloting, and commercial clearances for New Product implementation and hand off specifications to delivery teams. Act as an internal Level 2 expert support for specific products in the portfolio

 

Deliver Consultancy & Project Management:

  • Participate with other specialists to deliver IT workshops to industry groups and potential customers
  • To assist commercial teams with corporation workshops, technology workshops and helping introduce and deliver IT solutions that can create value and differentiation in the market.
  • Monitor the delivery, adoption and success of assigned Amadeus Products and Solutions to Corporations and Top Travel agencies. Work with commercial teams to drive success and increase Amadeus Product Adoption.
  • Work with IT delivery team to ensure product implementation is in line with customer plans and specified project goals

 

Contribute to Products and Solutions Strategy

  • Project Manage all aspects of product provision and delivery including coordination of timing and resources with all other departments in Amadeus Gulf and the Regional Office. Coordinate activities with relevant Parties (GULF Market, Central, ACO’s departments, 3rd Parties, etc.) in order to provide full understanding of requirements and priorities
  • Understand Amadeus central product strategies and advise/adjust its fit to the Gulf Region business needs
  • Contribute as required to successful completion of central solution development.
  • Ensure critical product issues or problems are promptly and adequately resolved
  • To drive the product strategy and achieve product deployment targets in specific area of specialization

 

Product targets & cost saving

  • Manage Assigned Products Billings with Amadeus Central Office.
  • Deploy Product & Solutions to meet defined annual product targets.
  • Deploy additional at least 2 major Products that support business objects in terms of booking and customer retention value propositions.
  • Participate in minimum 3 TA-IT Workshops per annum to win new and retain customers

 

Marketing

  • Work with marketing team to drive product adoption and product adoption campaigns.
  • Work with marketing team to increase product awareness and sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to drive new product campaigns.
  • Assist with organizing products related events.

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum IT or Relevant degree from recognized University 
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Management and Amadeus Central systems and solutions
  • Airline, GDS, IT and Travel operations knowledge and experience essential
  • Other IT related (Microsoft, CISCO) certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Product Management and Project Management tools and expertise.
  • Experience in business process optimization and ability to ‘sell’ concept to customers at high level
  • Ability to drive customer workshops and consulting missions.
