Financial planning and analysis manager

  1. Manage leasing revenue cycle by obtaining the following
  • Work with leasing department to collect, understand and challenge the budgets
  • Review and check leases agreements to ensure it is correct
  • Review and reconcile the monthly vacancy reports against budget
  • Manage and review the re-letting assumption dates and calculate the income/loss impact 
  • Prepare and deliver the monthly revenue variance analysis reports
  • Maintain and update the monthly holdover/catchup progress reports
  1. Provide assistance and support for a variety of ad hoc initiatives, including Yardi system improvements, process enhancements etc.       
  2. Implement and maintain reporting control processes within the SMBU that are efficient and effective consistent with the MAFP governance processes.
  3. Report weaknesses in the internal control system in the SMBU relating to the Planning cycle, identify improvements, and accordingly recommend preventive/corrective procedures.
  4. Ability to develop and maintain a financial model
  5. Implement, document, maintain and review including proper analytical review of the operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
  6. Ability to engage with business leaders, functional department and acting as a business partner
  7. Ensure timely and accurate financial results are produced that reflect the true financial condition of operating assets, developments, regions, cost centers, and countries within the SMBU for all fiscal periods.
  8. Review transaction processing processes to ensure best practice and speed of reporting is maintained.
  9. Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
  10. Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values in the assigned area of responsibility and ensure that relevant team adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
  11. Build the capability of staff reporting into by providing on time regular feedback including annual review on performance and identify areas of improvement / reinforcement for further development.
  12. Manage, guide and mentor the team reporting into and take full responsibility in identifying potential talent and timely supporting professional development.
