Job Description

 


Reports to Head of MEP
Responsible for Design & execution of engineering activities within the approved time frame and budget. Designs and reviews the technical submittals, samples and Shop drawings for all ELV Systems accordance with the project requirements 
To actively participate and coordinate with the team on all ELV systems for site execution along with the sub-contractors & suppliers 
Prepares RFIs and interaction with consultants to get the necessary approvals to ensure hassle-free installation on site 
Prepares the As-built Documentations, operation manual and handing over documents for submission to client 
Capable of designing & handling Structure Cabling System, Public Address System Audio & Video Intercom system Access Control System Video Surveillance System, SMATV System ,Wireless Communication Distribution (DAS),Parking Control System, Audio-Visual System, Fire Alarm System ,CO Detection System & BMS System 
Develops/compiles Engineering Deliverables Register and Document Control System for project
Monitors quality of output, including checking, approval of engineering deliverables, i.e. specifications, reports, drawings, MTO's etc.
Coordinates review of IDC documents/drawings & ensure its correctness. Ensures the preparation of the final as-built drawings based on Site mark¬ups prepared by PMT / Construction Team
Reviews of engineering queries and their responses
Responsible in preparing and review of construction drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings for Instrumentation and controls
Ensures that all activities are performed within the provisions of the Integrated Management System requirements
Responsible in preparing MTO’s, BOQ’s, SLD/DLD’s etc. as required by the Head
Performs activities delegated to him by Engineering Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor degree in Engineering
Knowledge of Instrumentation and Controls design and engineering techniques, preparation of MTO’s, BOQ’s, SLD/DLD’s diagrams in AutoCAD and Estimations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office. Experienced and Knowledge in Marine requirements and Classifications is an advantage. 

8 – 10 years of experience of which 4 to 5 years off-shore experience with advance knowledge in Instrumentation and Control design engineering, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education.
