About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Global Sales Manager – GCC to join the Sales Department in Jumeirah Group Services. The main duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Manage, execute and develop global preferred partner agreements across the region.
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing business relationships with global leisure and corporate partners across the GCC.
  • Plan and coordinate annual customer global forums and events internally and externally.
  • Responsible to deliver own global e-communications to your market and segments.
  • Attends overseas trade shows and sales trips to promote sales for Jumeirah Hotels globally across the region.
  • Assist in setting the annual commercial plan of the Global Sales Office – Middle East and Asia Pacific region within area of responsibility.
  • Maintain a high profile network across your area of coverage, actively prospects new business opportunities.
  • Cooperate and facilitate with Jumeirah Hotels globally to educate them about your segment group so they can in return meet your customer and partner needs.
  • Assist and introduce Jumeirah Hotels sales & marketing teams to your area of coverage and identified customer group when requested.
  • Provide accurate market information, intelligence data and performance figures in order to assist decision making process at the senior sales level.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A Business or Hospitality related degree from an internationally recognized institution
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years in sales experience, with 2 years as a sales manager role within the hospitality & hotel management industry.
  • Have experience working in a global sales structure.
  • Experience working in the GCC is essential and in particular the KSA Leisure segment.
  • Solid overall sales background in the five star luxury hotel industry including a good understanding of all key segments
  • Sales driven with proven ability to close sales and achieve results
  • Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Advanced computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite
