Operations manager

Principal Accountabilities:

 

  • Prepare and comply with challenging yet achievable yearly budget to ensure the Hotels sustain its profitability.

     

  • Manage the Operations team on daily basis to ensure that the team is providing adequate levels of service and meeting customers expectations.

     

     

  • Conduct Regular inspections of the properties along with department heads and maintenance service provider to ensure the well keeping of all assets in order to operate with efficiency to reduce operating costs.

     

  • Assess all candidates applying for vacancies to ensure the best selection and that succession planning is in place.

     

     

  • Plan training and development requirements for the year that helps the team to acquire new skills and refine existing ones in order to be efficient and provide the desired level of service.

     

  • Analyze online reviews and ensure appropriate and timely responses are posted. Produce statistics to measure quality of service and guests satisfaction and have relevant corrective measures in place for any reoccurring issues.

     

     

  • Supervise the staff day to day activities through field visits to develop healthy relationship with all team members that will reflect positively on service delivery.

     

  • Maintain good relationships with guests and companies through regular visits or calls to ensure the consistency and development of business relation.


Required Skills and Knowledge:

 

  • Minimum 8 years of Hospitality Experience with 3-4 years’ experience within GCC/UAE

  • Bachelor's degree or Degree in Hotel Management

  • Well Versed with the overall aspects of Hospitality though previous working experience in all fields/departments of Hospitality business.
