The Presales Consultant - Microsoft will be responsible for building and presenting customized product demonstrations of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related ISV products, and explaining, based on a proven track record of implementing similar technologies, the capabilities and uniqueness of our solutions. The incumbent will identify and define customer needs, objectives, business requirements, lead product demos, and create value by participating throughout the sales cycle. This role will act as a linking pin for technical, sales teams, partners and customers. Coordinate for work internally and externally with all stakeholders. Work with sales team to carry out Pre-Sales activities like responding to RFQ’s, give demos, manage and execute POC’s and conduct requirement gathering workshops with prospective customers. The Presales Consultant - Microsoft is characterized by his/her ability to build strong relationships.
The Presales Consultant - Microsoft will report to the Head of Sales - Digital Transformation, however, channels exists for direct communication with the General Manager - Digital Transformation & other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
To be a successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in computer science / quantitaive fields. Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience in the ERP domain as Pre-sales, Implementation, Sales. Well versed in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Unified Operations, with a minimum 8 years of working experience in Microsoft ERP product line. Domain experience in Supply Chain Management / Finance / Manufacturing / Trading of which atleast 5 - 6 years within the BFSI / Govt. / Retail vertical.Proficiency in analyzing the customers’ business, applications and converting the business needs into viable technical solutions. Proven experience in responding successfully to RFP / RFQ worth multimillion AED.
Exceptional communication skills with capability to generate trust with the customer with sheer domain and solution knowledge. Thorough understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 product line including Licensing, Functionalities and technical architecture for both On Cloud and On-Premise Solution. Proficient in .NET, Visual Studio, VSTS, C#, X++, Power BI, Azure, AIF, and MDX. Passion for CRM, Field Service, Retail and other related solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skill, negotiation, presentation and business acumen. Good Techno functional consultant with a passion to work with products and solutions. Having worked on products and solutions, giving and making demos/PoCs. Excellent techno-functional skills.
Previous experience & ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds, think analytically, write and edit technical material, and relate Business processes with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 offerings. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. The Presales Consultant - Microsoft will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
