About the Role

You will facilitate and coordinate all secretarial and administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the office of the Middle School Principal.  You will act as an ambassador to the school and will perform in an efficient, professional, and confidential manner all job duties.

You will have various responsibilities including maintaining high quality communication from and within the Middle School office.  Liaise with tact and diplomacy with school staff and parents. 

You will perform a wide variety of general secretarial duties including the maintenance of accurate and detailed records, databases, and filing systems, generating and processing daily office e-mails and telephone calls. You will maintain accurate student attendance records and communicate with parents/guardians as required, produce regular attendance reports for the Wellbeing team, send correspondence to parents/guardians on behalf of the Principal when patterns of absence/tardiness are evident.

About You

You will  have a minimum of two years' experience in a secretarial or similar role and will preferably hold a college Bachelor's Degree.

You will be a fluent English speaker, effective communicator, and will be able to handle different tasks simultaneously and manage your time in efficient manner.
