Job Description:

As the Senior F&I  Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a highly motivated team of F&I Manager (Business Managers) representing the best automotive brands in the UAE. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to launch industry leading automotive F&I products and make a real difference in AFF’s strategic transformation.

Key Responsibilities: This role is crucial for future proofing AFF’s business model by changing the way we sell, finance and insure cars in this region.  And, at the same time the incumbent will be managing a high performing team with focus on:

 

          Finance & Insurance Sales

  • Providing crucial input for F&I sales strategy and executing sales strategy to achieve agreed KPIs and sales targets for AFF (focus on F&I penetration and on IPRU)
  • Taking a leading role in delivering the captive finance project and all associated initiatives
  • Co-developing and improving industry shaping automotive finance and insurance products
  • Influencing key stakeholders of brands to jointly develop finance driven campaigns and marketing messages to effectively communicate the value proposition of AFF’s automotive finance and insurance solution
  • Rolling out trade-cycle-management concepts with focus on improving retention and loyalty
  • Leading and motivating a team of Business Managers who are fully embedded in the dealerships
  • Fostering collaboration and transparent communication among Business Managers and all dealership staff and creating effective relationships with peers in wider AF automotive business
  • Providing sales forecasting, planning, budgeting process and target setting for F&I by analyzing historical data, monitoring current performance and market conditions while coordinating with the Finance department to ensure targets are in line with the set budgets.
  • Developing action plans with team members to drive sales performance and sharing ideas & initiatives within AFF and brands
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for sales process improvement especially in overseas markets and working to ensure all sales objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.

 

          People

  • Recruiting, managing and developing a team of efficient managers for the F&I sales through ongoing performance management and measurement of agreed KPI metrics
  • Managing and developing required skill sets in employees managing the front end sales process
  • Identifying and managing the training needs and co-designing TCM based programs for AFF and dealership sales staff
  • Driving the employee engagement program by leading impact plan meetings, developing action plans and designing initiatives to bolster engagement

 

         Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • University graduate having a minimum of 10 years work experience (of which at least 5 years should in senior management) predominantly in a sales / business development role
  • Automotive senior management experience in automotive captive finance company or asset equipment finance company dealing with OEM’s.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive finance, trade cycle management,
  • Enthusiastic about digital opportunities and providing a top-of-class CX
  • Understanding of best practice car sales process
  • Experience in product / operations function or credit function in a retail environment is advantageous
  • Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Languages: Fluent English. Arabic is beneficial
  • Ability ty to formulate strategic business direction and anticipate customer needs
